The Memorial
The Attard War Memorial commemorates the residents and victims from the locality of Attard who lost their lives during the Second World War (1939–1945). The monument features a bronze sculptural relief depicting mourning and fallen figures overlaid upon a central plaque listing the Roll of Honour, mounted on a limestone wall above a commemorative marble inscription.
Location & Commemoration Details
The memorial stands prominently in Triq il-Paċi (Peace Street) in Attard, situated near the village centre close to the Attard Parish Church of St. Mary. It was commemorated on 6th May 1995 to mark the 50th anniversary of the end of World War II in Europe.
