Memorial Overview

The Żebbuę War Memorial stands along the roadside on a stone pedestal topped with a statue of Christ the Redeemer. Mounted on the central rock formation is a carved marble tablet bearing the coat of arms of Żebbuę alongside an inscription honoring local fallen heroes who lost their lives during the air attacks and defense of Malta in World War II.

MAFKAR LILL-EROJ ŻEBBUĘIN

The marble plaque features the coat of arms of Żebbuę and commemorates the following four local casualties who died during the critical war months of March, April, and May 1942:
