The Gudja World War II War Memorial is mounted on the exterior wall of the historic church complex in Gudja. The memorial is prominently positioned within the village and records the names of local people who became victims of the Second World War.
The Gudja World War II War Memorial commemorates people from Gudja who lost their lives as victims of the war between 1939 and 1945. The memorial consists of a large marble plaque incorporated into the limestone exterior of the building, beneath a circular bronze relief depicting a wartime scene.
The Maltese inscription describes the memorial as a remembrance of the people of Gudja who became victims of the war. It also extends the remembrance to all those who died because of war and the fear, suffering and hardship brought by conflict.
