The Safi World War II War Memorial commemorates four people from Safi who died as a result of the Second World War on 28 June 1942. The marble memorial plaque is mounted on the boundary wall beside the parish church and records the names and ages of the four victims.
The inscription identifies the memorial as a tribute from Ħal Safi to its people who died during the war. The plaque also bears the name of the Kunsill Lokali Safi and the year 2007.

About the Safi Memorial
The memorial is a relatively small but important local record of the civilian impact of the Second World War on Safi. Unlike a large freestanding war monument, the plaque is incorporated into the village's built environment, mounted on the boundary wall beside the parish church.
The present plaque is dated 2007 and was erected by the Kunsill Lokali Safi. Its inscription preserves the names of four people, including three children, who died on 28 June 1942.
