Dureta Melchoir, fra
Frà Melchior Dureta is listed on the Co-Cathedral’s catalogue of tombstones as being interred in the Chapel of the Langue of Aragon (entry 188 in the cathedral tomb list).
Being buried in that chapel indicates he was a knight of the Aragonese langue of the Order of St. John and of sufficient rank or standing to be commemorated on the inlaid marble floor (the cathedral contains nearly 400 knightly tombstones).
Many knights recorded on the tomb-floor are poorly documented online: not all knights reached high office (Grand Master, Admiral, Bailiff), and many survive only in on-site inscriptions and archival records.
